This was the first year that we have offered our foal crop in utero. It was an exceptional opportunity to get a lovely Caspian baby for less than it cost to even produce it. We want to thank everybody who took advantage of our 2002 in utero foal promotional. They will be going to all corners of the US and even Canada. We will be keeping the remaining foals for ourselves so that we will have something to train in a couple of years. Since only excellent mares were bred, we are very happy with the left overs :-)

She is really shedding out almost a liver chestnut now.		She carries the chestnut coloring, so she could be bred that direction if you choose to. Cheleken Tamatua Cheleken Zebbidy Cheleken Kahesha Brey 11.3 hands Bred to: Henden Sufri Hopstone Shabdiz Henden Babes Strawberry Roan 12.0 hands Tamatua had a darling little colt with rear white stockings on April 30. This baby was reserved by Linda Pryor in Austin. Named Taun-Taun, she is reluctantly offering him for sale for $4,000. This would be a cash price. Costessa Kalita Hopstone Shabdiz Costessa Karousel Bay 11.3 hands Bred to: Shepton Razak Persicus Nicky Henden Kara Chestnut 12.1 1/2		Kalita had a chestnut colt on May 6 sired by Razak, so she carries the chestnut coloring. Update: Kalita has been bred to the classic Henden Zebedee. Zebedee has produced some our finest performance horses including Lanhill Khandee and Henden Faddee. Henden Becci Henden Quasimi Henden Rebecca Chestnut 11.2 Bred to: ProtoArabian Daniel Kineton Kalif Saint Giles Scherezade Chestnut 12.2 hands Becci, the only Quasimi daughter in the US had a dainty chestnut filly with a small star and snip on May 26. Becci's 2002 foal was reserved, but you can choose who to breed her to for next year, or we will probably breed her to the strawberry chestnut, Henden Sufri. Henden Bibi Forstal's Barewa Henden Trudi White 11.2 Bred to: Eastern Jehani Hopstone Jamshyd Hopstone Mani Dapple Grey 12.1 hands Bibi, a lovely Barewa daughter and mother of Jonah, our new young stallion, had a beautiful grey colt with white blaze sired by Jehani on June 1, 2002. This baby might be double grey and therefore guaranteed to produce grey. He is available by private treaty. Henden Phillipa Henden Stephen Hopstone Regina Grey 11.2 hands Bred to: Henden Sufri Hopstone Shabdiz Henden Babes Strawberry Roan 12.0 hands		Phillipa had a wonderful bay, turning grey, filly sired by Sufri on May 17, 2002. This girl is named Kristull Patton's Nagesh. Phillipa is also the mother of Eve, a grey mare, being bred to Jehani this year. Phillipa is one of our most dramatic mares and would make the perfect foundation for any breeder of Caspians. Henden Wendy Henden Wenceslas Henden Rebecca Grey 11.2 hands Bred to: Marida DaDan Cheleken Avval Pesar Marida Bi Tarsidan Bay 11.3 hands Wendy had a beautiful bay filly born April 20, 2002 sired by the incomparable Marida DaDan! Her name is Kristull Morgaine of Brumar and she will be going to New Jersey to join the Theriault family in September. Wendy has been bred to Texana's Jonah (a son of Kiaffta and Bibi) on May 3, and checked in foal on June 1. Both parents are grey, so the foal has a 75% chance of being grey as well. This baby will be going to New Jersey. She is named Kristull Alannah of Brumar. It is pronounced Al-an-ah and is Irish for beautiful/darling. It is hard to tell if he will go grey or not, but we will wait and see. He lives in Iowa and Qamri will come back to us this fall in foal to Kristull Jewel of Darius. That foal might be for sale. She will be going to Illinois and is named Kristull Patton's Hopes & Dreams. Lydian apparently carries the chestnut trait, under her deep bay coat. Miz Ma'am has been bred back to ProtoArabian Daniel and she will be going to live with her new owners, the Colemans from Liberty Hill Texas, when she weans her baby in September.		Progress shows the incredible metallic sheen that so many of our Caspians have and that they pass on even to part Caspians. He is shedding his curly baby coat on his rump.	SOLD
